Long Lasting Lip Tint- CLIO Virgin Kiss Lipnicure

I bought this a few months back and decided to try it out because there was a promotion at the drugstore. Since then, it's been my favorite go-to lip product if I'm in a rush and can't decide which lip color for the day or if I need something that is long-lasting.

I got it in #Nasty Pink, which is the one I frequently use, and #Tension Red, which I've only tried on one time and don't really put it on normally, as it's a stronger color and not suitable for everyday wear.

The staying power is amazing, and it shows on camera like a sweet, bright pink. #Nasty Pink suits normal day makeup which I even wore to class before and I also used it for wedding dinners and days where I'm out for longer hours. The tint has a subtle sweet scent.

Most other lip products go off after a meal but this one retains most of its color even after I've eaten.
One con is that it goes on as liquid but dries off to a powdery finish, and it can feel drying on the lips, which is why I always apply some lip balm before brushing it on.

Dot a few spots and gently rub it outwards. I feel using my fingers gives more control than using the applicator directly. Alternatively, you may use a lip brush. Putting it on with the applicator may lead to overloading of the product as well as smudging at the edges of the lips, and it's less easy to clean up mistakes due to it being a tint and also thanks to its lasting power.

Lip balm can be applied before, or after, as I sometimes forget, and it helps to move and blend the tint around the lips, and keep them hydrated.

#Nastypink

Pardon the dark circles, didn't put any makeup on except the lip tint, and lightly filtered the pics to scare you less.

Seoul Happy

This is my little shopping loot from Korea, it feels like I've been there..... almost. Thanks to a friend who had helped me get some stuff on my teeny list.

Some of these items are completely unavailable in my country or are much pricier to buy here compared to getting them straight in Seoul.

The deep chocolate brown bear was a souvenir from my friend which is from the famous Teddy Bear Museum. It's sitting on my shelf now.

I was reading reviews on the Aritaum Pudding Tint and seriously I want every color! But I felt that since I already had colors that were pretty similar, I would limit myself (and my wallet) to just 1 color. In the end I went with #Tango Red. :)

I've yet to try it but the smell gets me high! I don't really like overly sweetish scents but this made me happy just smelling it. Have swatched it on my wrist and the color looks pretty pigmented. I will try it soon.

Next are the Etude House Play 101 pencils which are yet to be released in other parts of the world and it seems that currently can only be bought online besides in Korea itself.

I watched Pony's (Pony's Beauty Diary) videos on creating different themed looks with the pencils and wasn't really swayed at first to buy them, as I already have some similar colors albeit in eyeshadow powder form or normal eyeliners, which the pencils could be used as. And I didn't want to spend too much.

But there was quite a bit of hype on it and since it wasn't available in my country and my friend was in Korea, I decided to add them to the list. haha. It's like what you can't get so easily, you want it more? LOL

I swatched them a few days back and the textures and color payoff was not bad, and now I'm excited to use them! I got them in #01Black, #08, #43. Will blog more about them soon!

I also got The Face Shop's Rice Water Brightening Cleansing Foam, as it's almost twice the price to get it here than from Korea. I wanted a facial wash with rice as an ingredient and researched online and came across positive reviews for this.

Another Face Shop item was this nail mask, Milk Calcium Nail Pack which I thought was pretty interesting, and would be nice since I often change my nail colors nowadays and have to use nail polish removers more frequently. Korean beauty product packaging are always so creative and eye-catching.

That's all for now. Thank you for reading! :)

Korean Makeup: 3CE Haul and Review Part 2-Lip Products 韓國3CE化妆品

I got the usual Korean style of colors in rich fuchsia, pinks and corals. It's amusing how makeup trends evolve so fast and what was once popular is out of trend now. Like I can't imagine pale nude-y lips were once sought after. It looks so washed out and ill-looking now. The current bold colors really add a brightening effect to your face even by itself without needing to put on a pile of makeup.

I tried out some ranges of their lip products. I feel like I'm buying the same colors again and again
(including other brands)? Lol. So hard to resist!

3 CONCEPT EYES JUMBO LIP CRAYON in #NEON PINK

I got this the very first time I shopped at Stylenanda and it was in Hong Kong during my holiday. I was so excited to visit the store and it was like on my itinerary of places to visit haha. This width and texture of this crayon makes application easy and its an interesting way to put on lip product as opposed to the usual lipsticks and tints. The color is really nice and lasting power was just normal.

3 CONCEPT EYES PINK LIP COLOR in #607 BAAA

I love this color! Its a coral orange-y color with subtle shimmers, really matches with neutral brown makeup and illuminates the face.

The lipstick is in this special pink edition packaging and yesss, I purposely chose a lippie from this range just so I can get one in this packaging. Hahaha. It's a very wearable color!

3 CONCEPT EYES LIP PIGMENT in #ELECTRO PINK

As you can see from their website, this is the fun range of lip products which come in a tube that resembles watercolor paints. You're encouraged to mix the different colors to create your desired shades and tones with examples provided. I got it in #Electro Pink, one of  the more popular colors to try it out. I didn't want to buy more just in case I didn't like the texture.

The shade is really pretty and looks like a bold pink, fuchsia tone when applied and has a hint of a sweet scent.

Although it looks pretty fun to mix them but I doubt it will be convenient if you are rushing out and would want a 'ready' lip product to use and without all that hassle. Some of the colors are good on their own and do not require any mixing, and you could even use them as liquid blushers? I like the lip pigment and don't regret buying it at all although I may not try other colors at the moment as I'm more keen on using lipsticks! :)

3 CONCEPT EYES CREAMY LIP COLOR in #8 LADI DADI

This is a lovely strong pinkish hue, and it feels pretty moisturizing on the lips, and I can skip my lip balm step before this. It's a shade that would suit most skin tones and gives off a youthful and radiant feel.

Overall, I think their lip stuff are very pigmented, colors are true as shown on the site and I like their range of brightening and wearable shades. It's comparable to MAC lippies and is priced cheaper yet has good quality not just in terms of product but packaging as well. The plastic is weighty and not flimsy, and the design simple and sleek.
